Concept
The conceptual animal shelter was named 9 Lives to represent the second chances animals are given that are housed at the shelter. Nine lives is a popular term used to describe cats because of how many life threatening experiences they encounter. The logo was designed using the number figure 9, which represented a cat figure especially after placing cat ears and stripes on the curve of the tail. The most popular color for cats is an orange tabby, therefore the color orange was selected for the logo.
